An italian tradition

The history of coffee in Italy begins in the 1600s: coffee began to spread in Venice thanks to a botanical doctor, Prospero Alfino.
Legend has it that the latter, after a trip to Egypt, a place where coffee
had already been widespread for some time, brought the drink to Venice, describing it as having "a flavour similar to chicory."

COFFEE IS TRADITION,
AN HISTORY OF ROASTERS AND ARTISANS

Coffee is tradition, it is the history of roasters and artisans, and it is our history. Like wine, Italian coffee is a national and international treasure.

Since the first coffee shop was opened in Italy in the 17th century, coffee has become one of Italy's excellences in the world.

Its more than 60 varieties have stimulated Italian creativity, and the result is the birth of more than 800 roasters, still active today.

Each of them produces unique blends, different in variety, roast, origin and aroma
